After Ruby Rose accused Katy Perry of sexually assaulting her at a Melbourne nightclub in 2010, an essay written by the actor has resurfaced where she detailed how vomiting on the singer made her go sober.
Внимание! В данной статье содержатся упоминания о сексуальном насилии, которые могут вызвать у некоторых читателей негативную реакцию.
Batwoman and John Wick 2 star Ruby Rose made the allegations against Katy Perry on Threads, writing: “She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friend’s lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomitted on her.”
Perry denied Rose’s accusations, as a statement called them “dangerous reckless lies.” Rose has since deleted all of her posts about her claims after filing a police report. But an essay that she wrote in 2011 about her sobriety has resurfaced, recalling the apparent incident where Rose threw up on the singer.
Ruby Rose said the incident with Katy Perry made her go sober

News.com.au found that Ruby Rose had written for the outlet about her night out with Katy Perry back in 2011 for a piece where she discussed her sobriety. In it, the article explains that Rose had been sober for 30 days, and decided to celebrate by having one drink — which quickly turned into several. She did not make any mention of the alleged assault.
She wrote: “I had been off the grog for 30 days — my first attempt at sobriety — and I was out partying with Katy. What I do remember thinking was: ‘I’ll have a drink tonight, I deserve one. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?’
“Well, not stopping at one drink, or 10, and then vomiting on Katy’s foot was the answer. What was worse was I don’t normally spew (I don’t know why, I just don’t), so clearly the universe wanted to punish me.”

Elsewhere in the article, Rose explained that she went completely sober afterwards because of vomiting on the singer. “And that’s one of the reasons I’ve been off the grog now for almost 90 days,” she wrote.

Кэти Перри находится под следствием по обвинению в сексуальном насилии над Руби Роуз.

Кэти Перри назвала обвинения Руби Роуз в нападении «опасной и безрассудной ложью».
“Before you jump to conclusions, nothing horrific happened, nor have I been hit with a DUI — but I just had enough, and it has been one of the best decisions of my life.”
Some may wonder why Rose didn’t make her claims back then, but in one of her deleted posts, she explained that “it has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly,” before adding: “”though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes.”
