Alex Garland’s Elden Ring movie has officially started filming, and the full cast and release date for the highly-anticipated video game adaptation has finally been revealed by A24 and Bandai Namco.
The video game movie curse has been shattered (just like how Queen Marika broke the Elden Ring) for quite some time thanks to the huge success of releases like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, and The Minecraft Movie. Now, A24 wants a slice of the pie with its ambitious Elden Ring movie.
The project is written and directed by Alex Garland, who is best known for his work on movies like 28 Years Later, Civil War, Annihilation, Ex Machina, and Dredd.
Now, Garland’s Elden Ring movie has started filming, and A24 has revealed the project’s full cast and the release date.

Alex Garland’s Elden Ring movie will be released on March 3, 2028, and Bandai Namco revealed the director has recruited a truly talented cast to bring the world of the Lands Between to the big screen.
