Pokopia has finally landed, prompting fans and even the White House to share memes about its release, using the logo to make their own design. Now, Nintendo has responded to the White House’s use of the trend.
When Pokopia was released, tons of fans began using the imagery, font, and logo to make their own fanart, posting different messages, statements, and designs in the Pokopia style to celebrate the launch.
Shortly after this began going viral, the White House also joined in on the trend, using the Pokopia design to write ‘Make America Great Again,’ leading The Pokemon Company to officially respond.

As originally reported by Time, The Pokemon Company explained that “We are aware of recent social content that includes imagery associated with our brand,” Sravanthi Dev, a company spokeswoman, said.
They went on to add, “We were not involved in its creation or distribution, and no permission was granted for the use of our intellectual property. Our mission is to bring the world together, and that mission is not affiliated with any political viewpoint or agenda.”
This isn’t the only time Pokemon has spoken out regarding similar events. Back in September 2025, the Department of Homeland Security posted a video of ICE agents arresting people alongside Pokemon clips and the slogan “Gotta catch ’em all.”
